A history of promises...

Promised to its original owner Michael Fouts in March of 1837 as a part of a 320 acre land grant, the property has always been known by locals to be what a postcard perfect Hoosier farm should be. In the time since its establishment, this farm has seen many changes and many visitors...

In 1992 the land was purchased by Jerry and Nancy Sarver and since then the property has hosted numerous class reunions, church picnics, and pot luck dinners.

Upon bequeathment to its current owners, David and Shelly Sarver a promise was made between father and son to take care of the farm which has been a place for memories since its establishment in 1837...

It is our hope that everlasting promises continue to be made at Promise Lane Barn for many many years to come.
